Live Fishing Pond

Catching a live fish is exciting and it continuously draws us back to the water wanting to catch another. Having that chance or watching someone else catch a fish is what gets kids hooked on this sport. We have given hundreds of kids the opportunity to catch their first fish!

It's amazing to see the patience they have. But it's not always about the catch. It's about quality time spent between family and friends.

Guests love our exhibit and return to visit year after year. The line up to fish and cast is always never ending. It is a huge attraction that creates positive energy from all involved.

Prior to covid halting our business, we have had the pleasure of showcasing our live fishing pond ad the London, Barrie and Hamilton Boat, Fishing & Outdoors shows multiple times. And last year it felt so rewarding being back in action at the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular.

At our pond we practice catch and release. We always find a home for the farmed fish after each event. Fish can be donated or purchased for each event. For safety purposes we rotate through a limited number of participants at a time. We book our live fishing pond for a minimum of 2 day events. It takes a few days to set up, add and treat the water to make the environment sustainable for the fish. A day or two is required after the event to tear down.

Casting Area

This is a family favorite activity for many fairs and festivals. The line up never stops as kids get to practice using different  to hitting targets. This is where families have the opportunity to get a rod in their hands. We keep a variety of rods and reels for all levels of experience to try.  Without hooks, there is a pond area with targets for longs casts and plastic fish targets that people can hook and reel in. It is a way we can teach kids and adults how to properly cast and wind in.
